Iron deficiency anemia is one of the most common - and often overlooked - complications of pediatric IBD, making timely diagnosis and effective treatment essential to improving patient outcomes.  Management of Anemia in IBD will bring together experts in pediatric gastroenterology and hematology for a practical, case-based discussion on current evidence, treatment options, and real-world strategies for managing IDA in children with IBD.

Attendees will learn best practices for diagnosing and treating iron deficiency anemia in pediatric IBD, including considerations for oral versus intravenous iron supplementation, safety, efficacy, and patient-centered decision-making. The live session will highlight practical strategies for optimizing iron repletion while managing active inflammation, and expert panelists will share real-world clinical insights on common challenges in diagnosis, treatment response, and long-term management.  The webinar will also incorporate key insights from the NASPGHAN IBD Committee position paper, Anemia in Children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, to help attendees better understand the current clinical landscape and apply evidence-based approaches to improve patient outcomes.
