Bowel Sounds: Sue Protheroe, MD - Enteral Nutrition in Intestinal Failure

Jennifer Lee and Jason Silverman talk to Dr. Sue Protheroe about an approach to enteral feeding for infants and children with intestinal failure.  The discussion highlights important physiologic principles to consider and an overview of enteral feeding progression at different ages. Dr. Protheroe is a past president of the British Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (BSPGHAN) and leads the Home Parenteral Nutrition Service and Intestinal Failure program at Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital in Birmingham, UK.
